British Creative Exchange

Internships

2008 sees the British Creative Exchange (BCE) extending its reach beyond our annual season to work with creative organisations in the UK to offer a series of internship opportunities.

Outreach objectives

  • Champion new creative individuals across UK creative organisations
  • Provide opportunities for young creative skills to be recognised and valued
  • To assist creative organisations to flesh out new ideas for projects

The British Creative Exchange recognises its responsibility to be innovative, open doors to new talent and foster creativity across the UK.

We identify individuals through our programmed projects, including websites and events around the UK and aim to hold interviews and also provide information on other industry opportunities. Selected persons will be placed within each of our Partners existing Internship programmes for either 4 – 12 weeks period. Derick Johnson, British Creative Exchange CEO, explains “The idea is to give young people access to a range of disciplines within the creative sector which may or may not be totally artistic by nature but which very much represents part of a creative process in action across UK creative industries.”
